What's up VA/MD/DC Party People! I am bringing a slammin band with me to celebrate the big weekend in DC out under the stars at the amazing National Harbor on Saturday July 2nd! I will be joined by The Wailers and Blind Melon, both bands I grew up diggin. It's going to be a very special night of music all followed by a firework show! We hit at 4:30 p.m. SHARP! but come early for all the other entertainment and drink specials!

Get your tickets in advance, its a great deal for a ton of amazing bands. I personally will be there all night long...there is a VIP ticket as well that gets you all kinds of extra shows and perks...get on it!

This will be my ONLY DC/VA show of the summer, Don't Miss It!

I went to see  Michael Tolcher , who I had discovered in one of my many shows to see my absolute favorite musician of all time,  Edwin McCain!   Michael (who has become a very dear friend!) was opening for  The Clarks  at the 930 club in DC.  I went strictly to see Michael and took two of my kiddos with me.  We decided to stay for the Clarks. OMG!! OMG!! I was blown away!  We all were!  We decided to stay and Ive been hooked ever since then,  I do try to see them as much as possible, They are a much  beloved band for people who are my age.  The Clarks are pumped to be back at the one and only Stage AE on June 22nd with special guest Tiny Wars! So, this is my first post - Wait, I should say OUR first post -  Ive been wanting to start a music blog for a long time...not sure if anyone would actually want to read what I have to say due to the fact that I'm not a musician .... But I love music Ever since my first 45 when I was 5 years old (dont laugh, it was SAYING SOMETHING STUPID by Frank and Nancy Sinatra and I still have it), to my first concert in 1976 (The Beach Boys, dont hate) to my first club that I sneaked into (The Club Sunrise, St Mary's finest), to dating my first musician boy friend (a bass player) to the hundreds of concerts later, to my ever changing music tastes to my quest to find new music....
