Hello all! Welcome to those who've recently signed my mailing list. My sincere apologies for not
sending a July newsletter. Only a few people seemed to notice...and my face looked like this....
But I'm turning that frown upside down...now let's get to August!!

TWO COOL SHOWS!!
I'm looking forward to coming back to La Plata, MD for a free outdoor concert at the La Plata Town Hall on Friday, August 21st from 7-9pm. All ages are welcome! Bring a lawn chair and enjoy.
Then on Saturday, August 22nd I will be in concert at the Historic Coopers House (circa 1790) in Columbia, MD. This is a great house concert series in a beautiful home that's over 200 years old. I will perform tunes from all 4 albums and a few newer ones, with a few surprises! All are welcome
to this show. $20.00 suggested donation. Feel free to bring a covered dish. For those who've never been to a house concert, it simply doesn't get much better than this. Beautiful and intimate setting. Guitarist Bryan Ewald joins me for this performance.

MUSIC MUSIC...I HEAR MUSIC...!
So Eric...when's the new album? I've been hearing this question a lot lately. I'm glad folks care
enough to ask. I've released 2 albums (Red in 2007, Where The Water Runs Deepest in 2012) in
the last 8 years...so it's definitely time!! Seriously. I've got some tunes ready to go. Some tunes
are almost done. I've got the players. I've got the vision. I've got a bass guitar. I've got a co-producer.
I've got the studio. I'm ready. I can wait no longer. I've got everything...except the funding.
So...I'll be launching a crowd funding campaign in the near future to ask for your help with this next
record. Simply, I'll be asking for contributions and giving you perks based on your donation. You'll
receive the record and possibly much more. But most importantly...we literally will be making this
happen together.
I'm very excited about this next record! I'm thanking you in advance for your consideration, and I'm thanking ALL OF YOU who have supported me thus far. xoxoxo

What's In The CD Player/ipod?
Well...since I got Sirius Satellite Radio in my car a few months ago, I haven't listened to any CD's.
I'm stuck on Ozzy's Boneyard, 70's on 7, and The Groove...with occasional stops on The Bridge,
Soul Town, Coffee House, and Classic Rewind. I do like what I've heard from new artist Leon Bridges.
Any suggestions?
